IAA Staff CIS/NEASC Workshop

On Saturday, February 5 IAA Teachers and Administrative staff participated in an all day exercise as part of the CIS/NEASC preliminary visit currently taking place. This visit is to help prepare IAA for the application process to work towards hopefully gaining accreditation with these organizations.

On February 3, 2011 all Grade 3 students put on a fabulous production of "The Frog Prince".  The students did a fantastic job portraying such characters as; an evil Queen, a sweet Princess, beautiful Butterflies, funny Birds, Dragons, Witches, a Butler and of course a Frog Prince (who even had a French accent!). Congratulations on a job well done and thank you for entertaining us all with your acting and singing.

Jan 2011 MUN Trip - Yale - New Haven, Connecticut & New York City

Students from Grades 10, 11, 12 visited the US for a MUN Conference. The conference was held at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. Following the conference the students had the opportunity to visit new York City and went on a walking tour of Wall Street as well as visited the United Nations building.

Grade 1W put on a wonderful show this morning to teach the primary school students about some of the traditions and customs of China. The students sang and narrated the story of the Sleepy Mandarin as well as danced. The beautiful decorations were kindly donated by the Chinese Embassy. Congratulations on a wonderful performance!
