Last week, Grade 10 students visited Sharhabil Bin Hassneh EcoPark and observed sustainable development models in practice, such as ecotourism, solar-powered water heaters, composting and water purification systems. This trip gave them a greater appreciation for the urgency to preserve the Jordanian landscape, and the realisation that sustainable development is successful when it involves collaboration, education and active involvement from the local communities. #IAACulturalHeritage
