Egg Drop Challenge
Monday, 18 April 2016
Education -

Six straws, two paper clips and one meter of masking tape had our 9th graders creativity bubbling! Mix this with knowledge of engineering and physics, add a raw egg to the mixture, and you will get a barrel of laughs and IAA"s First Annual Egg Drop Challenge! Working in pairs, the Grade 9 class was challenged to create a protective container for their egg, then drop it from the balconies of the Secondary School. Our winners for this year were Yasmeen Quran and Mohammad Jayousi, who placed their egg in a makeshift box and cushioned it with little pieces of straws. Good fun!
