We were beaming with pride as our Alumna Aya Ghanameh, Class of '17, unveiled her debut picture book, 'These Olive Trees' this week! A tale of love, legacy, and the Palestinian landscape. Aya, also an alumna of the Rhode Island School of Design, graced our hallways once again to share her writing journey with our eager fourth and fifth graders. An inspiring moment where our students delved into the art of #storytelling with a true wordsmith. Congratulations, Aya, on this incredible achievement!

Crafting a greener future!
Tuesday, 05 December 2023
Last Thursday, our grade 2 students joined forces with our Primary Art Teacher, Ms. Lina Daghjoqeh and Ms. Ala Janbek from the @Mind Lab to create eco-friendly paper embedded with seeds! From workshops to recycled cards, we're sowing the seeds of change for a better tomorrow. All cards crafted will be available for sale, and every penny goes to the Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature (@RSCN). Let's preserve #wildlife and embrace recycling!
When it comes to teaching a language to students, they are often motivated to enhance and practice the four elements of their speaking skills (vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and fluency) upon connecting the language with its culture!
