Safety Regulations

Campus Safety

Fire drills are carried out at least once a semester.

IAA is an alcohol, tobacco, narcotic and weapons-free school. Any student involved in activities related to these items will face severe disciplinary action which may include expulsion.

Personal items are not permitted in school. Certain items such as mobile phones, discmans, digital music players, and computer games are not permitted and are confiscated if found. For Primary students, this includes toys (of any kind).

Jewelry should be kept to a minimum. Studs are the only acceptable earrings and can only be worn by girls. Similarly, make-up should not be worn in school.

All Secondary students are allocated a locker for the safekeeping of personal items. The student is fully responsible for any valuable item they may bring to school as the school cannot assume responsibility for any lost or stolen student items.

Campus Guests and Visitors

Guests and visitors are welcome at IAA. All guests and visitors are requested to first report to School Security to present their ID card and receive a visitor's badge.

Leaving School Premises

Students are not allowed to leave the school premises during the school day unless accompanied by their parents or legal guardians. Students are not allowed to be picked up by anyone other than their parents/legal guardian or authorized driver. Car-sharing between parents for student pick-up is permitted, but only after IAA is informed in writing of the name of parent and/or driver.
