Early Years

The Kindergarten Library , a colorful and creative hub of energy and activity, hosts Pre-K to Grade 1. Story time, author series, visitors, costumes, computers and resources fill this energetic space. Children are introduced to reading, appreciation of books and a true love of the written word (in both English and Arabic) is instilled here. Classes and library lessons are carefully planned through the Informatics Curriculum and many fun events occur throughout the year like costume parades, book week, Dr. Seuss visit and Parents' Day, to name a few.  Children also enjoy watching puppet shows, listening to stories and participating in library activities that make the library a fun, educational haven with over 12,000 resources.  Library staff travels to Pre-K classes for story time and puppet shows to make sure our youngest learners enjoy the latest in pre-school literature in a familiar and cozy environment.
