Early Years

The Kindergarten Library , a colorful and creative hub of energy and activity, hosts Pre-K to Grade 1. Children are introduced to reading, appreciation of books and a true love of the written word (in both English and Arabic) is instilled here. Classes and library lessons are carefully planned through the Informatics Curriculum and many fun events occur throughout the year like costume parades, book week, and parents reading, to name a few.  Students learn about different authors and illustrators, fiction and nonfiction books and genres, fairy tales, fables and also digital citizenship. The KG library is an educational haven with over 13,000 books, including 3500 Arabic books which our youngest learners are encouraged to borrow on a weekly basis.  The library collection contains a variety of pop up books, board books, easy picture books, nonfiction books, DVDs and story sacks.
