IAA student athletes participated in different sporting events during the weekend. Whilst our volleyball team were finalists in the AAC tournament, our U12 boys played a friendly match with the English Talent School, winning one match and losing the other. On the other hand, our Track & Field team participated in the cross country event at ICS, bringing back lots of medals. Well done! Thank you students, parents, coaches, staff, referees and organisers.
IAA Hawks Starts Tournaments On A High!

It was a busy week for our Hawks athletes who participated in the Jordanian Youth Track & Field tournament and an U18 volleyball friendly match against ACS. On the volleyball front, our U18 girls team fought hard and won the game. Our champions. Ibrahim Issa Elayan and Phoebe managed to win gold medal in the high jump and triple jump respectively. Jana Abu Lughud won bronze in 400 meter hurdles, Nadine Al Omar also won bronze in the 200 meter race. Phoena, won silver in shot put, and bronze in javelin. Lara Aklouk won bronze medal in the 1500 meter race. We are proud of all our participating athletes, including Karissa Hukayem, Jenna and Adam Barhoush. This is an amazing start and we are thrilled to start the new academic year on a high. Thank you coaches and staff for the wonderful efforts in training our student athletes.

IAA's Aliya Boshnak Makes It To The 2018-19 Yale Women's Track & Field Roster.

Aliya was one amongst 14 athletes who have entered Yale this year with a myriad of accolades. She is a member of the Jordanian National Team, a Jordanian National Record holder in the 100 m dash, 200 m dash and 400 m run. Boshnak is a world junior championship semi-finalist in the 400 m run.
