King’s College Students Visit IAA

Nine students from the prestigious King’s College, Taunton in the UK visited IAA Sunday. They spent time with IAA’s Grade 11 students, swapping life stories and developing their international and intercultural understanding.
The Grade 6-8 Bible Competition

IAA’s Secondary Religion Department hosted the 4th annual Bible Recital Competition for students from Grades 6 to 8. Its main purpose was to familiarise students with the reading of the Holy Bible. The competition was run by a panel of judges from the Bible Society of Jordan, who follow well-defined international standards. The performances of our students were of strong quality, making it a tight race for first place. Congratulations to everyone who committed to this competition.
The 9th Asian Age Group Championships

Sayf Hatabeh (Grade 9) came in 6th place at the Boys 100m Breaststroke (1:10.92 min) at the 9th Asian Age Group Championships that took place in Uzbekistan yesterday. Well done Sayf Hatabeh!

Grade 10 Celebration

IAA held a celebration for Grade 10 students last week.

56 Grade 10 students assembled in the Auditorium to celebrate their MYP achievements and to reflect on their MYP years at IAA.

Grade 9 Visit Azmi Al Mufti Refugee Camp

As part of their Interdisciplinary unit, Grade 9 students visited Irbid"s Azmi Al Mufti camp last week to experience the challenges faced by its refugees. The students came out with a deeper understanding of migration and of course acceptance, one of the main IAA pillars.
