Remembering Dr. Mohammad Hamdan

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم إيمانا بقضاء الله وقدره وبمزيد من الحزن والأسى تنعى الأكاديمية الدولية- عمان رئيس مجلس إدارتها معالي الاستاذ الدكتور محمد حمدان، الذي وافته المنيّة صباح اليوم الثلاثاء الموافق 4/2/2020 . فلقد أثارت فاجعة رحيله ومفاجأتها الم في القلب، وانحسارًا لمدد الرفقة الجميلة، وانطفاء لومضة نبل إنساني. وإذا اجتمع في المرء النُّبل وحبّ الخير وكرامة النّفس والوقوف عند الحقّ فإنها اجتمعت فيه –رحمه الله-، وفي هذا عزاء لنا وأيّ عزاء! لكنّها سنّة الحياة، فقد ترك لنا رنينا بالذاكرة يصدح عندما يُذكر اسمه، لأننا نستشعر به بحواسّنا، فسلام عليك ذلك الذي ينثر الربيع في صدورنا، والورد في أرواحنا، والعبير في قلوبنا. الله سبحانه وتعالى اصطفاك إلى جواره؛ ولا راد لقضائه ولا دافع لقَدَرِه ، فرحلت عن هذه الدنيا بجسدك لكنك خالد باقي بما تركته لنا، لأنك سجّلت لك في صفحة الطّيّبين مكانا ، فقد علّمتنا ومتّعتنا بما تحمله من ثقافة وعلم وأدب فاق حدود الإبداع وألهم كل الأجيال، فحبك للغة العربية وشغفك فيها سيبقى رمزا نتفاخر به، ونبراسا يضيىء حياتنا. رحل حمدان العزيز، ليرحل معه رمز الاخلاص والوفاء، وعزاؤنا أنه ترك لنا إرثا ضخما من الأخلاق والعلم في قدرته ومكانته في عطاء فيّاض لا حدود له فبحكمتك ورؤيتك وايمانك بدمج ثقافات مختلفة، أوصلت مدرستتا إلى القمة وجعلتها واحدة من أفضل المدارس، لأنك المجد والرفعة والقدوة الحسنة التي نقتدي بها، فعرفنا فيك صفات من حلاوة المعشر وأناقة الكلام ودفء اللسان . وداعا يا أبا احمد ، نم قرير العين لأنّ ما علّمتنا إيّاه سيبقى محفورا في القلوب والوجدان لكل الأجيال، وما نملك إلا أن ندعو الله العلي القدير أن يلهمنا ويلهم أهلك وكلّ محبيك الصبر والسلوان. ولا نقول إلا "إنّا لله وإنّا إليه راجعون". It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of one of IAA’s key architects and a leading figure, Dr. Mohammad Hamdan. Today we mourn the loss of a mentor, educator and father figure. Dr. Hamdan is someone who, over the course of his lifetime, was renowned for his selfless and giving nature, and for that, we are grateful to have had him as IAA’s Chair of the Board of Directors. Without his wisdom and vision, IAA would not be where it is today. Since its founding, Dr. Hamdan embraced this school with open arms and stood by its successes and struggles alike – always keeping the well-being of our community and the happiness of our children as his number one goal Dr. Hamadan is a self-made man who made it through education. It was his drive, determination and love of learning that helped establish him as one of Jordan’s highly ranked officials within a short span of time. Dr. Hamdan enjoyed numerous accolades and various positions of responsibility; all of which he took very seriously and helped guide to prosperity. However, Dr. Hamdan was not a man swayed by status nor impressed with titles. Rather he was blinded to privilege and entitlement; he was a man of virtue who stood tall in the face of injustice. With his warm and endearing heart, Dr. Hamdan was always the voice of the voiceless- a man of reason and balance Dr. Hamdan…. today words fail us, as they cannot give you the recognition you deserve. From here on, we continue to look ahead to the future with your vision and optimism. Rest assured your legacy will remain a guiding force for generations to come. You have laid a solid foundation from which we can rise and soar You will be missed but certainly not forgotten Your wisdom lives on Your kindness lives on Your memory lives on انا لله و انا اليه راجعون
