IAA was thrilled to host the Jordanian percussionist, Mr. Awwad Awwad yesterday who visited our grade 7 students to give them an instrumental workshop to enrich their learning experience in their current unit, “Rhythms of the World”.

Mr. Awwad has also introduced our students to the common performance techniques used in Arab, Indian and Latin Music! Our students greatly enjoyed performing alongside the artist, providing a leaping-off point for completing their summative task (Criterion C - Performing). Thank you for your gracious visit Mr. Awwad!
