Congratulations to our Grade 10 students on their performance in the IB-MYP e-assessments. We are pleased to announce that we scored above the IB world average in most of our subjects, and that our average MYP total was significantly higher than that attained around the world.
We had a strong showing in the Discrete Sciences, the Arts, Design and Physical and Health Education. We are also encouraged by the strong performance in the Interdisciplinary exam, which underlines a strong understanding of the holistic nature of the MYP by students and staff.
We wish our Grade 10 students all the best for their Diploma years, which given the results attained, look to be very promising.
Mabrook!
Congratulations to IAA's Class of 2017 on their superb IBD results. The passing rate was 100% with 6 students achieving 40 and above and a class average of 33. Mabrook to the IAA community!
IAA staff members attended the Teacher Skills Forum (TSF 2017) over the weekend, an annual and regional event organised by the Queen Rania Teacher Academy in partnership with the International Baccalaureate (IB). The forum is aimed at enriching the educational system and the students' experience. The staff not only attended the sessions, but also gave workshops in their areas of expertise.
IAA Grade 11 students, Sara Baara and Alsharif Qatada Alluhaymaq, gave their brilliant perspective on innovation and then introduced Prof. Tony Wagner, an innovation specialist from Harvard University.
