Teacher Appreciation Week
Monday, 04 May 2015

Today is the first day of Teacher Appreciation Week (May 4th), and IAA is part of a global social media campaign, tweet for teachers! which asks you to give a shout-out to an inspirational teacher you know - or share why you think, teachers matter! So far, incredibly influential voices have lent their social media support to shout, teachers matter! - such as Bill Gates, President Clinton, Kevin Spacey, Ban Ki-moon, US Secretary of State for Education Arne Duncan and HM Queen Rania of Jordan. Sometimes its the small things that really make a difference, just a tweet. We hope you can join this Twitter movement of teacher champions. Lets respect, reward and celebrate teachers, lets start TALKING about teachers! Learn more at https://www.varkeyfoundation.org/teachersmatter
