Monday, 07 December 2015
Public Speaking -

IAA IB Student, Czara Awad, delivers a poignant speech at the annual Queen Rania Teachers Association (QRTA) Teachers Skills Forum. Thank you, Czara, for sharing your experiences with educators from all over the region!

"True love of learning comes from doing, not only from memorising. Education is not merely acquiring the ability to read, or write, but rather having the capacity to apply and incorporate the mind, the heart, moral principles, ethics and character in one. Education is a process of living.”

Diplomacy -

The IAA Model United Nations (I"MUN) 5th Annual Conference took place last weekend on the IAA campus under the leadership of the I"MUN Secretariat, a team of talented students who worked hard to make this event possible. Hosting nearly 300 delegates from 9 schools, IAA concluded 3 days of rigorous debate about Sustainable Solutions with it largest ever donation to charity, delivered to UNICEF in support of the Syrian refugees in Syria and Jordan. What an achievement! IAA was thrilled to welcome so many delegates from across Amman, and we look forward to greeting even more schools at next year"s conference. Congratulations to our IAA delegates on a job well done! In the words of our students: "After all, a more just world starts with us.” Learn more at http://www.iaamun.org/
