President's Letter

Esteemed Advocates,
My name is Ibrahim Al Tarshihi, and I have the honor of serving as the president of this year's Supreme Court of the Soviet Union. As of writing this letter, I have 33 experiences, meaning I have seen a lot in various committees, and I can say that, by far, this committee will definitely be one of the most interesting I've ever presided over or have seen. The procedure and flow of debate will be unlike any other, and I expect you to try your hardest, as this committee will demand a lot from you and will put your abilities as a delegate to the test.
What I would like to say, however, is that while the committee may be demanding, that should not discourage you from contacting me, the deputy president, Abdullah Bayati, or the chair, Rayan Durak. My utmost philosophy when presiding over a committee is to always make sure my delegates come out of the conference feeling accomplished, making memories or new friends, and above all, feeling like they learned something, and this is a philosophy I intend to uphold throughout the 3 days of the conference, whether it be a procedural or topical question, or anything in between. I strive to create an inclusive environment, and this will undoubtedly be no different; however, that requires reciprocation. I expect you to uphold this inclusive environment as much as I do to create an environment where all of us benefit and learn.
I wish you all the luck in the world, and I can't wait to see you in the committee.
Best Regards,
Ibrahim Al Tarshihi
SCSU President.
