President's Letter

Esteemed delegates of the Center of Investigative Espionage,
As an experienced "MUN-er" I had adopted the committee style of court, and it has stuck with me. However, I had decided to make a change as sometimes a change goes for the better, because "I recently started to adopt the mentality of 'When you stop learning, you start dying" which I believe applies to everyone' – Lucas Abuizzam NOSMUN25 Secretary General." Creating this fringe was a true honor, as I was able to explore and understand a conflict and learn more about it as I was truly fascinated by this conflict. In a world where what is talked about certain topics or rivalries get overlooked.
Our topic for this year's fringe committee is "██████████████ v. ██████████". This is a topic that really interested me while I was in my Global Politics class, as the topic involves the idea of "new wars" and can escalate towards a global conflict. Additionally, the Idea of espionage "█████████████████████████" is played allot as parties continue to accuse each other of attacks of espionage against each other.
This year's theme "████████" of this year's IMUN'2025 Model United Nations conference. This year's theme focuses on the idea of conquering the madness of your actions, similar to Pandora when opening the box and unleashing disease and chaos on the world. However, amid the chaos that Pandora caused, hope emerged as a reaction against the madness that had arisen. During the committee, each one of your delegates is required to open their own box and face the consequences of their own actions to fulfill your secret agendas and eventually win the war.
And, with that, I officially introduce myself as the President of the Center of Investigative Espionage. My name is Talal Alasad. I am a senior at The International Academy – Amman, and this year's Head of Fringes and Head of Crisis. This will be my last ever IMUN conference. I'm sure that we will have a memorable experience together and one for the books.
Sincerely,
Talal Alasad
President of the Center of Investigative Espionage
Head of Fringes/Crisis
