President's Letter

Distinguished Delegates,
Serving as this year's president of the General Assembly in IMUN'25 and participating in such a prestigious conference is my honor and utmost privilege. The General Assembly holds a precious place in my heart, and I truly hope that after this conference, it will for you, and so I'm excited to see what it holds for each of your valuable opinions and arguments.
This committee, which is one of the most versatile committees in the UN, addresses the most socioeconomical pressing issues in the world, no matter the geographic location, political stances or cultural differences of a country as it thrives for inclusivity and fairness. As delegates, you must do the same, and craft resolutions that advocate for diplomacy and a sense of justice.
I'm looking forward to working with all of you and exploring fresh perspectives. From this conference, innovative ideas and solutions will emerge from dynamic discussions, and I'm excited to dive into the challenges we'll address in this year's General Assembly!
I encourage each and every single delegate to participate in the debates, research about the topics at hand and step outside your comfort zones, in order to engage in new experiences.
Yet again, welcome to the General Assembly, please do not hesitate to ask for any help!
Tala Khoury,
President of the General Assembly.
