WHAT IS IMUN?
IMUN is a quintessential part of the IAA experience, in which students get the chance to simulate the United Nations and immerse themselves in the increasingly relevant world of politics.
Through the use of diplomacy to solve global issues afflicting our world today, it offers an opportunity to develop public speaking, debate and critical thinking skills. IMUN is renowned for being a uniquely unforgettable conference with a diverse range of committees that tackle political, social and economic affairs, providing a holistic approach to addressing the world's challenges.
Our hope is that this conference will inspire and prepare the next generation of young leaders to navigate the complexities of our ever-changing world.
PANDORA'S BOX
This year, IMUN revolves around the theme of "Pandora's Box", the famous tale of unleashing the evils of the world on humanity. The theme is a reflection of the current state of the world, and highlights the need for the United Nations to be a pillar of hope for our world. We aim to encourage our esteemed delegates to make decisions with the greater good in mind, such that their generation will be the role models for our world's future development.
